My Background
Welcome! I'm Lawren Flynn, founder of Birth and Baby LLC.
With a background in Early Childhood Education and years of experience working closely with infants and toddlers, I’ve always been deeply passionate about supporting families through the earliest stages of life. For the last 3 years, I've been a birth, bereavement, and postpartum doula in the community setting. I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in Nursing, continuing my commitment to providing compassionate, informed care.
Whether in the classroom or in the community, holding space for families as they navigate the transformative journey of pregnancy, birth, and parenting has been at the heart of my work. It’s an honor to walk alongside you during such meaningful moments, and I look forward to growing together.
Philosophy
At it's core, birth is a normal bodily function. I understand this is a paradigm shift from the culturally normalized belief that birth is inherently dangerous and by default is a medical event requiring supervision, management, and augmentation. However, birth, postpartum, and bereavement are all natural human processes that are deserving of adequate preparation, visibility, support, understanding, and respect from the community.
I believe that every parent is deserving of unconditional, non-judgmental support along their journey.

My services include support for birth, postpartum, lactation, loss, and early parenting—along with prenatal education, workshops, and peer groups.
Each service is thoughtfully designed to empower families with reliable evidence-based information, personalized preparation, psychological and physical comfort, and tools for self-advocacy—so parents can move through pregnancy, birth, and early parenting with confidence and compassionate support.
